Brand new Hermès Birkin 30 in Mushroom Togo leather with palladium hardware. Mushroom arrived as one of three new pastel colours in Hermès's Fall-Winter 2022 collection. It is a soft, pale grey with a hint of silvery green, often described as a greyer take on Craie, and it moves gently between grey and warm beige depending on the light. Palladium hardware keeps it cool and fresh, which makes it an easy alternative to white for everyday wear. Togo is a pebbled calfskin with a slightly raised grain. It resists scratches, keeps the Birkin's structure and softens with use, which suits a light colour that will be carried often. At 30 cm, the Birkin has room for a full day's essentials while keeping the classic proportions: two rolled handles, the flap top, front sangles with turn-lock closure, padlock and clochette, and protective feet. An everyday Birkin with a quietly special colour.
